She is best known for her roles in The Victory of Youth (1941),and Daughter of the Nobles (1942),in addition to her outstanding role in The Angel of Mercy (1946) with Youssef Wahbi and Faten Hamama.

While returning at night, Hajj (Morsi) finds a baby girl on the side of the road. He takes pity on her, and takes her with him to his home to raise her with his daughter (Suniya). The relationship between the two girls strengthens over the years, until Hajj (Morsi) dies, and their paths of life separate. After a long and difficult quest, while Saniya falls in love with a rich man and plans to marry him, Nemat falls into the grip of a domineering woman who leads a number of beggars and pickpockets.
