In the beginnings, he participated as an actor in several works such as The Night of Fatma's Arrest, before participating as an assistant director in many works. His debut was directing the movie Addicted to Love (2005). He is best known for directing Omar and Salma 2, and Infidelity.

A massive fire takes place at an old housing settlement owned by a businessman who trades in food products which have gone bad al Sharnouby, portrayed by Jamil Rateb .
