An Egyptian media personality and writer, born in 1956 in Dakahlia Governorate. He received a Bachelor of Commerce - Department of Business Administration in 1978, then studied...Read more media. He worked as a broadcaster on Voice of the Arabs Radio from 1980-1983 and as a TV presenter from 1983. He also worked as a newscaster and presenter for a number of various programs such as Ramadan Festival, and Wishes and Songs. He participated in many literary and poetry festivals and conferences in Cairo, Baghdad and Jeddah. He published many of his poems in periodicals such as Al-Ahram and Arabic Magazine. His poetry collections include "I Clap or I Don't Clap (1987). He was awarded the title of Best TV Anchor in 1991. He appeared in the movie Mr. Karate (1993).

(Salah) is a young villager with a fondness for martial arts films. He moves to Cairo and works as a groomer in a garage. He is trained in karate by (Hassan) in the hope of becoming a champion of the game. He falls in love with (Nadia),an employee of the video store from which he rents tapes of movies.
