A Jordanian actor and screenwriter, of Palestinian origin, born in 1943 in Beit Sahour. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Beirut in 1971. He worked...Read more as Head of the Texts Department in the Department of Culture and Arts from 1972 to 1977, and Head of the Texts Department at the Royal Cultural Center from 1984 to 1986. Among his most important television dramas are: Al-Khansa (1977),Happiness Is A Promise (1982),The Deer's Wound (2000),and Jerusalem Gate (2011). Shomali also participated in several theatrical performances, such as The Quarry (1976),and The Country Wants Its People (1989).
