Afterwards, he moved to Italy then Greece...Read more and then settled back in Munich. He worked in small restaurants and kept moving up until he ended up working in the Hilton. When CBC opened their cooking channel they gave him his own program titled "The Chef". He appeared as himself in the film Mama's Boy (2018).

The events revolve around a comic framework around a gang leader called (Magdy Takhtoukh),who gets into a quarrel and gets injured as a result. He is transferred to the hospital in a serious condition, where he needs a heart transplant. At the same time, the mother of the young man (Younis) dies. So the doctors resort to transferring his mother's heart to (Takhtoukh) to save his life, so he deals with (Younes) in the manner of the mother's tenderness and fear for him.
