Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Culture to launch a range of initiatives for the major fields of cinema, fashion and music. The objective is to support the kingdom's Vision 2030 targets. The first part of the agreement aims to boost cooperation between the Film Authority and the strategic partner of the Riyadh Season, Salih, to facilitate licenses and entry into the film-making sector, launch the authority's office in the Salih studios and support producers. Additionally, the Golden Pen Award, designed to turn literature into films, stands sponsored by the cultural ministry's Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan Al-Saud.
