The board of directors of the Saudi Sports Initiative has approved the designs for the world’s tallest sports tower, which will be an important landmark of the initiative's project. The tower will play a central role in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, aiming to improve the quality of life in Riyadh and become one of the top 10 economic cities in the world. The sports initiative is set to be the world’s largest linear park, spanning over 135 kilometers with walking, cycling and equestrian paths, as well as more than 50 sports facilities and over 4.4 million square meters of green spaces. The tower will be 130 meters high, with an area of 84,000 square meters and the highest climbing wall in the world at 98 meters, as well as a 250-meter running track and facilities for over 30 sports. The initiative's goal is to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle while enhancing the city’s global reputation.
