It's well known that back in 2009,the administration released an audio collection of poems for Prince Dr. Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Muhammed. This happened after the head of Rotana, Prince Al- Waleed Bin Talal Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, inaugurated this evening of poetry marking it to be the first event for Rotana's poetry department. The event took place in the Four seasons Hotel in Al Riyad whereas Prince Al-Waleed honored some of the Saudi pioneers in poetry in recognition to their contributions to poetry.

Also, the poetry department held  a press conference that witnessed signing the contract of the poet Yasser Al Towegry with the president of Rotana records Salem Al Hindi.
